Free Solo Tree Climb!

[5 - 7pm 2nd Friday of each month April through October]
Free Solo Tree Climbing - No rope, just hope!

When was the last time you climbed a tree? Exactly.
A majority of us don’t have the necessary athleticism to do it anymore! That’s why this year we’re doing a monthly event every 2nd friday evening to awaken your body with a playful pastime and get you conditioned to reintroduce yourself to the arboreal playground!
— At the start of every climb event we will go through a briefing of tree climbing safety tips as well as tree climbing techniques for the able bodied people who have the strength to make a safe ascent!
— Anyone is welcome to attend, spectate, and participate, though the risky nature of this activity will require signing a liability waiver for all attendees and guests/invitees.
Access the waiver by clicking here

Things to bring:
Durable gloves — Protection for your elbows and knees — Eye protection — 1+ Liter of personal drinking water (MANDATORY) — Long sleeve durable shirt and durable pants

We are accepting suggestions on tree locations to consider, and prioritizing hard wood trees over conifers for resinous reasons.

Regarding climbing etiquette: we want to be considerate to the trees and not break any living branches! We will cover this topic in our pre-climb briefing in greater detail. As always when enjoying the outdoors, pack out what you pack in, do something to leave the area nicer than you found it, and do your best to leave no trace!

If you have any questions, comments, criticisms or collaborations we’re here for it and all ears!
