“Wake Massage is dedicated to empowering you by sharing how to intuitively apply science-based data to your self-care maintenance rituals.”

Privacy Policy

Wake Massage is bound by the Health Information Privacy Protection Act (HIPPA) to keep your identifiable information confidential. Wake Massage and its representatives cannot disseminate your contact information without your express consent, nor is there any desire or motive to do so. There are legalistic exceptions to this rule, which can only be overridden in special cases determined by law, on a case-by-case basis.

Discount Policy

Discounts are made available by using discount codes, and must be redeemed by entering the discount code upon booking your massage or class session. Discount codes are disseminated through e-mail, promotional posts on Google Maps, and handwritten letters only. If you have trouble entering your discount code, we can help. Just send a text or email to Wake Massage with the code you intend to redeem, and we’ll input the code for you!

Refund Policy

All purchases are final. The only exception for refunds are services that have not been fulfilled and have to be cancelled (not rebooked) through life-changing events like surgeries, newborns, deceased loved ones, etc… with proof of event.

Classroom Policy

Respect and a natural curiosity to learn are important to maintain in a learning setting. Classroom environments are vulnerable spaces where the unknown becomes known, and it takes time for new links to be made. Nobody wants to be seen as “not knowing”, and so it becomes a challenge to balance our emotions with our desire to improve and not feel judged in our lack of knowing or ability. Humility is what encourages the flowers of understanding and capability to blossom. Keep away from making sarcastic and digging remarks. Abuse in any form = dismissal.

Agreements Policy

The Massage Therapist agrees to:
Communicate clearly, create a judgment-free zone where openness is treated with reverence, facilitate healing through a highly present quality of touch, anticipate needs and non-verbal cues, and to confirm the client’s consent with changing pressures, methods, and tools.

The Client agrees to:
Show up on time, practice non-judgment, make their needs known, advocate for themselves, follow through with in-session direction (like intentional breathing), and take their continued care into consideration with the recommended “homework assignments”.

Cancellation Policy

All appointments booked require a current card on file. If an appointment is canceled for any reason within any timeframe, there is a $55 fee. If the appointment is canceled within a 24-hour time window of the appointment, the client will be charged the full price of the service. The exception to the fee is if the session is rebooked at least 24 hours ahead of time, and not rebooked more than twice. If rebooking happens with less than 24 hours notice, the client will also be charged the $55 fee for each occurrence.
